DEVELOPING ACCORDING TO A CERTAIN PATTERN
First Bible Meditation
ISAIAH 29:16
You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me”?
Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing”?
First, there must be the knowledge and understanding of the unique pattern God wants you to develop into – Exodus 25:40 See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain. Personal development for a Christian is not a blind pursuit or one with trials and errors. The way of God is perfect without mistakes or failures. If you hear from God and follow Him according to the exact instructions, you must end a success in life.
God is the potter and we are the clay – Isaiah 64:8, ” Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand”.
The potter works with different shapes of moulds. As a Christian do you know the shape of your mould? There must be the mountain of revelation-where you always encounter God for guidance and solutions. This is the time of prayers and studying God’s word. It will encourage communication with God.
WEEKLY WORK
Observe your life whether it is going according to the pattern of God. If not, come back to God and dialogue with Him, listing out those matters.
PRAYERS
1) Father, break me and remould me according to your good pattern
2) Let me be a vessel of honour and praise to you. Fix me back Lord.
