I thank you God for giving me life and protection from danger. I ask for your mercy to follow me and cleanse mef from every sin in Jesus name. Amen
DO YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?
First Bible Meditation
1John 5:11-12
11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Eternal life is not about living forever because no one ceases to exist when they die. Everyone lives forever either in heaven or hell. To understand this, read John 17:3 – ” Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”. Eternal life is the life of Jesus Christ. It begins with “knowing” Him intimately. This relationship produces the eternal life become intimacy with Christ gives rise to Christ living in us.
God’s plan for man with eternal life is eternal but we have choice to stop it or allow it. Eternal life on its own lives on. But we should also know that there is eternal death.
It is the eternal life that makes us valuable before God. By God’s standard, the poorest man with eternal life is more valuable than the wealthiest man in the city without Christ in him. This eternal life identifies us with Christ. Immediately this happens, you are like Christ.
WEEKLY WORK
Use this week examine if you have eternal life, surrender all to him. Go and tell people about the eternal life.
PRAYERS
1) Oh precious Jesus Christ, may the eternal life of Christ dwell in me richly in Jesus name.
2) Oh God, I need your grace so that I will express the power of eternal life all my life in Jesus name. Amen
