PATH WAY TO GODLY GREATNESS
Main Text: Proverbs 21:21 – “He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour’.
Proverbs 22:4 – “Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth, honour and life”.
Every Christian has the seed of greatness in him. But you must understand the path way and follow it step by step. Understand that the world equally has their measure of what greatness is, which is defined based on the number of cars, houses, titles, certificates and fame that one may have achieved on their own, these are good and we can have them too, but they are far from how God measures greatness.
God measures and acclaims a man great by how much of his purpose he has fulfilled and His will he has followed.
God desires his children to rise, stand out among their equals and stand tall. But for this to happen you must tread this path:
Obedience to God’s commands: The Bible says, “if you are willing and obedient…. (Isa. 1:19) be ready and prepared to follow without shaking your energy command God has given you.
Humility: Humility draws God’s attention towards someone.
Fear of the Lord, God already has defined path to greatness. The fear of God will restrain you from missing your way.
Integrity: Is summoned up as a stead fast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code and the determination to go through the right path no matter the cost.
Diligence: You must be diligent and consistent in pursuing God’s purpose for your life. You must turn neither left nor right.
OBEDIENCE IS THE PATHWAY TO GODLY GREATNESS
Prayer: My Father, my father, I submit to your will, so that your purpose will be worked out in my life.
