OPENING PRAYER
Almighty God, I ask for your mercy today. Draw me close to you and teach me your ways. Keep me strong to follow you all the days of my life in Jesus name, Amen
THE SON OF GOD
First Bible Meditation
MARK 15:39
This man was really the Son of God.
Beloved, we need to rediscover the truth without a price and timeless message announced to the world of this humble carpenter from a town called Nazareth in Galilee region 2000 years ago. As astonishing as it may be, this Man is here to work and walk with you. He said, ‘I will not give up on you’. You will need to believe in his promises, just as his warnings.
Jesus Christ is our personal Lord and Savior. He gave us the joy and the freedom when he conquered death. He presented a new way of living. Jesus Christ came as the light to the world. He also wants to be our light, our savior and our friend. He remains the only way, the Truth and the Life.
John the Baptist prepared the way for this man, Jesus. He called on his disciples to receive His baptism. Warding off evil spirits, healing many people and giving food to the many without money were some of his good deeds. This Jesus was crucified, buried with a stone to seal the tomb, but on the third day, according to his predictions, he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He reigns.
Hear this, Jesus said that ‘If someone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.who else indeed desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me and the Gospel will save it. And what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul ? What shall a man give in exchange for his soul ?’ Mark 8 :34-37.

Confess Jesus Christ publicly as your Lord and Saviour. Tell people about Him and lead them to Christ.
