“They have moved on from here,” the man answered. “I heard them say, ‘Let’s go to Dothan.’” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them near Dothan. 18 But they saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.

19 “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other.

When you refuse to excel in your Hebron, Egypt will become your next destination passing through Dothan. Joseph was relaxed in Hebron with his coat of many colours then God decided to put him on a test. Sometimes in Egypt we become the best of us. Staying in a comfort zone for too long could be deceptive.

We need heat , betrayal, jealousy and a times to be sold out for the best in us to come out. The food we eat go through the fire before we eat them. Even Jesus Christ couldn’t receive the glory that awaits Him until he found two guys with these special qualities; Peter to deny Him and Judas Iscariot to betray Him.

The coat of many colours was just a symbol of purpose, it wasn’t the real blessing. It was taken away from him but his God was not taken away from him and the faithful God saw him through. I see God taken you out from that pit to the palace… Alleluia!

Prayer: My Father, my God, my enemies cannot bury my destiny and let the contenders of my glory be disgraced. Amen
