OPENING PRAYER
Oh Lord and Father in Heaven. Let your light shine on me today and guide me throughout this week. I pray that this week will bring goodness and joy to me. In Jesus name, Amen.
FACE YOUR FEAR WITH FAITH
FIRST BIBLE MEDITATION ~ MATTHEW: 14:29
“Come “he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came towards Jesus.
All you need to do today is to take that bold step of faith and step out of fear and face your challenges. You have to stop running from the terrors and step onto the water. A step into the water is a step of faith. Yes, God can do all things but sometimes he will expect us to take a leap of faith before that miracle can take place in our lives.
If the children of Israel did not move out from their positions to step into the water [Jordan], they would not have known that their God has the power to divide Jordan into two for them to cross Jordan on dry land. The same call is on you today to come, step into the water. Abide in Jesus Christ and he will abide in you and you will have life in abundance.
Peter stepped on his fears, when he allowed the terror to intimidate him, he began to go down but immediately he remembered that he was obeying the voice of God and he trusted in Jesus Christ, knowing that with Jesus Christ present he cannot fail. Jesus Christ told Peter to step into the water and come to Him. The power of possibilities is on this principle, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith” ~ Hebrews 12:2. Do not apply faith by your own strength.
WEEKLY WORK
1) Make a list of your fears and cancel all of them as a sign of victory.
2) Decide and start facing your fears with Jesus Christ by your side. Begin immediately!
PRAYERS
1) In Jesus name, I rebuke fear in my life and destroy its strongholds in my life now.
2) I believe that God gave me the spirit of boldness, sound mind and power, I walk with them from today, In Jesus name. Amen.
