OPENING PRAYER
My Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be your name. I ask that you come and fellowship with me now. Reveal to me the mysteries of your kingdom in Jesus name. Amen
PRAY IT YOURSELF (part 2)
FIRST BIBLE MEDITATION: EPHESIANS 6:10-11 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
We must pray with perseverance as we watch. Prayers do not encourage laziness and ignorance. Our spiritual and physical eyes must be open and with divine understanding of the things we see during prayers. When you pray, God shows you mysteries or communicates to you with words or signs but if you refuse to be watchful and persevere, you might stay in one city when God has moved to another city. You may stay in a single subject matter wailing without knowing that God has taken over or one may be louder than the voice of God that he may miss the instruction of God while the prayer session was on.
Be mindful of both physical and spiritual noise during prayers. The noise can either come from you or from outside. Noise is one of the greatest weapons the devil uses to block our hearing the voice of God.
PRAYING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH PERSEVERANCE MAKES PRAYERS FRUITFUL
– James 5:16-18 . When we pray and the Holy Spirit is leading us in the prayers, we will definitely not miss the mark and the solutions will be with us. No matter how emotional the challenges of life might be, do not be carried away but submit yourself to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. It profits more than when we struggle on our own. Spiritual perseverance is another secret of answered prayers.
WEEKLY WORK
1) Choose and decide how many times you can consciously speak to the Holy Spirit daily. It may not be to request for help but it is a walk with God in order to increase your consciousness of God’s presence around you. Try this, it works.
PRAYERS
1) In Jesus name, I pray that the spiritual tools of communication through prayers will be in tune with the Holy Spirit always.
2) in Jesus name, O Lord of Host, teach my hands to war for your glory alone.
