SUBDUE YOUR WORLD
Main Text: Genesis 1:28 “God blessed them and said to them “Be faithful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground”.
2 Peter 1:8. “For if you posses these qualities in increasing measuring, they will keep from being in effective and unproductive n your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
To subdue means to take charge or control. So to subdue your world means to stand up to issues, problems and general life conditions that seem to question God’s position in your life. God’s original purpose is for us to be in charge of His creation.
It is a fact that life is full of troubles. But then victory is assured to those that know their God. To subdue your world, you must possess a measure of courage and self-confidence that is generated by your trust in God.
You must possess the following (1) Purpose: purpose is the fuel that drives the engine of your life. When you understand why you were created, it helps you to be focused (2) Courage: This means standing your ground under opposition. courage ensures victory even when the odds are highly against you (3) Determination: Determination pushes you beyond your pain. In fact, it mounts pressure on you to succeed. It propels you towards victory.
Life does not give us what we deserve it supplies what we demand. Don’t allow any circumstance to dictate your attitude rather stand up to them in faith.
SUBDUE YOUR WORLD, DO NOT SUCCUMB TO IT
