CONFESS AND RECEIVE LIBERTY 1

CONFESS AND RECEIVE LIBERTY

TEXT : 2 CORINTHIANS 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Liberty is the condition of being free from imprisonment, slavery or forced labor. It is also the condition of being free to act, believe or express oneself as one chooses. Liberation is a kingdom mandate given to us through Jesus Christ, “to set the captives free” – Isaiah 61:1-2 ”

ESV:The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;2ESV:to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;”

Luke 4:18 ESV:“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,”

Liberation is the center message of Jesus Christ to mankind, freedom from all manners of bondage, pains and torments. Whatever that has bound you will leave you now if you believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Say this prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from the bondage and torments of Satan today and forever. I reject them in Jesus name. Amen.
