The will of God for every man is to be successful in every area of life, academically, spiritually, career-wise, financially, domestically as well as our relationships with other people. It is necessary that we moderate the attention we give to every area of our life.
We should not be myopic that we neglect the academic aspects because we expect God to perform miracles, neither should we be lazy and do nothing because we serve a miracle working God. God who said He will perform signs and wonders also said He will bless the works of our hands. So if we do not put in effort, there is nothing God can bless us with. Show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith by my works.
There is a reason why we were created and kept to live on earth before going to join our maker. That purpose should be fulfilled first and that cannot be done if we do not work on ourselves and our mindsets.
