| 4 | TOPIC- THE ANTICHRIST Scripture text: Revelation 13:1-4 Introduction: The antichrist will seem to be a great warrior, statesman and religious leader. He will be energized by satan and will be devil’s counterfeit Christ. The antichrist will work closely with False Prophets/teachers. And later claim to be God – 2 Thessalonians 2:4 and blaspheme God – Rev 13:6 * Things to be controlled by the Antichrist: He will control the ‘seven spheres of influence’ to bring it into One indivisible Force which some call today as the New World Order: – Government (military system): Rev 13:4 – Media – Celebration ( Arts and fashion, Entertainment and sports) – Commerce/Economics (Business, Science and Technology): Rev 13:17 – Education – Family – Religion/worship – Rev 13:15 * The war of Armageddon: This war will be the last event in the time of great tribulation, to be fought in the vicinity of Jerusalem and will end in Christ himself being the Victor – Rev 6:8. Christ will return in power and glory. This is not the rapture. Conclusion: It is important to note that the antichrist will not be invisible, he will be a human being with the heart of beast working for satan.
