LESSON: I CAN MAKE IT
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 1 John 4:4.
Memory Verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
INTRODUCTION:
Joseph lost his mother at a tender age. He was hated by his brothers who plotted to kill him and sold him into slavery. He made it. Ruth was a widow with no future; she made it as a result of her choice to follow her mother-in-law Naomi and her God. Esther was an orphan who was raised by a senior cousin in a foreign land; she became queen. Even Rahab was a prostitute with a bad reputation; she entered into the genealogy of Christ. Wherever you find yourself, connect to God strongly by faith and you will definitely succeed.
- GOD MADE YOU A WINNER: Deuteronomy 28:13, Romans 8:37
We are divinely made to be victorious. You are destined to win. You are destined for the top. You are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. Rise and take your position! The seed of greatness is in you. You can’t afford to be a loser. The present challenges in our country can’t stop what God is building in you. - GOD HAS VOWED TO BLESS YOU: Genesis 22:16-18
No man has ever served the Supreme God in holiness and righteousness and remained the same. There must be a manifestation of evidence that such a man encountered the Almighty God and received blessings from Him. If we can understand what it means for God to vow, then we’ll be rest assured that our success cannot be hindered by the economic hardship in your environment. We just have to serve God in faithfulness. Hebrews 6:13-19 - HOW IS MY TOMORROW? Jeremiah 29:11
There is no bad future for the Christian believer who stands with God. The devil keeps painting wrong images of failure and frustration. Refuse those strange imaginations – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Let her heart be hopeful and joyful of the best to come because there is a strong hand and plan for you – God is at work.
Questions - How can I succeed even when I am down?
- Does God leave us when we face challenges?
- Conclusion
You are not designed to be a failed project. He made you an achiever. He made you an accomplisher, a proof-producer. You were designed to be fruitful, creative, productive, effective, prosperous and responsible.
