Create in me a pure heart Oh Lord to receive all that you will say to me now and grant me a sound understanding in Jesus name

First Bible Meditation

Jeremiah 20:9
Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

The word burn in this verse is to kindle, to set on fire, to be consumed with. To burn for God is the heart of a disciple’s mission, ministry and purpose. This is what God wants in the heart of every believer. If we are on fire and consumed by God and His power, we should have that intimate relationship with God which He desires with us.

When you have a burning heart for God, you make Him your priority by putting Him first in everything you do. A burning heart for God attracts blessings, thereby making you live in plenty. (Matthew 5:6). When your heart burns for God, it kindles a fire within you that makes you not to be silent as you have received His word rather you speak out and talk to others about God’s word.

It is important to understand that it is possible to burn for God but it is very necessary to follow God as He leads you even if it contradicts common reasoning. If you spend quality time abiding in the word of God with focus on getting to know Him, you will know Him for He is truth, and He (The Truth) will help set you free from the things of this life trying to take you captive.

Weekly Work
Separate yourself and go to God in sincerity of heart for days and ask Him to set his revival fire to burn in you all the days of your life.

1) Holy Spirit break me, remould me, fill me and release your power on me
2) Oh God, I need fresh fire on my life to stand firm for you in this end time.
