FEED YOUR FLAMES CONTINUOUSLY
Don’t give room for self glory. Flames go out without continuous fuel. Romans 12:11. Revelation 3:16. Paul wants Timothy boiling. He wants him aflame. Not fever-hot, but fire-hot — white-hot.
2 Timothy 2:15. Feed the flames by the word of God – The word of God is like a water, a fire, an oil, and a preservative. Don’t lose grip on the word. It is the life to the Christian – believer. Romans 8:9.
Conclusion: Knowing that the enemy would like to quench our fire, we can’t let “life” get in the way of seeking God, living for Him and burning for God daily.
