GOD’S KIND OF LOVE
Main Text: John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting live”.
1 John 3:16
“Hereby perceive we the Love of God, because He laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
God is love. When a man does the will of God as contained in His word, he expresses love to God. It is through the obedience to God’s word that man tells his heart towards God.
He told us in the book of Isaiah 43:2, which says: When thou passeth through the waters I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee, that is God’s love.
One major aspect of God that was revealed is Love. John 15:13 says “Greater Love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Until Jesus came, we never knew what true love was all about. God wants you to know that there is a depth of love that can only be accessed or revealed through God.
GOD LOVES YOU TO THE EXTENT OF DYING FOR YOU.
Prayer: Father, through my life, let people around me experience your love in Jesus Name. Amen
