GO FOR WISDOM
Main text: James 1:5 – “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him”
Proverbs 4:7-8 “Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her and she will promote you; she will bring your honour, when you embrace her”
In the world today, a lot of people face numerous challenges and uncertainties due to unguided and unwise choices made: violence and hardship is gradually becoming a norm in the society of today. Many people clamour for wealth and other superficial things but neglect the pivotal need of man: wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to make guided decisions with the help of knowledge or experience acquired.
There are decisions you can make as a christian once you have been blessed with wisdom that, praying much over a situation won’t be necessary anymore – as in the case of King Solomon and the women with their babies (1 Kings 3). Wisdom brings you before royalty and makes them favour you – 2 Chronicles 9. When you seek wisdom and cherish it, promotion is guaranteed.
Beloved, God is willing to give you wisdom but He requires that you ask of Him (Matthew 7:7). A safe life void of errors is your portion even as you desire and covet wisdom today.
