MAIN TEXT:Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.”
Having a heart of Thanksgiving to God means that we continually thank Him for everything. We shouldn’t just thank Him when things go well. And we should thank Him for the people He has placed in our lives.
Thankfulness in everything comes through practicing being thankful to God for His presence, peace, faithfulness, comfort, and more when facing challenges, rather than letting the difficulties be the focus of our thoughts, words, and prayers.
Today, learn to consciously thank God for the blessings that you have not received yet. Thank God for working on giving you much more than you expect or deserve.
