STRETCH YOUR FAITH
Main Text: Hebrews 11:6“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”
Psalm 125:1 “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.”
It is one thing to pray and another thing to believe in practical terms that God will do what you are asking for. Stretching your faith is also a way to unlock your door to the miraculous, firstly, we must live a life that is pleasing to God if we want His supernatural intervention in our lives, and we please God when we live by faith. The bible says in Hebrews 11:6A “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him.”
The word faith has a deeper meaning than many people imagine. For example, it is lack of faith in God that makes people sin. Adam and Eve lacked faith in the one who placed them in the Garden of Eden and told them what to eat and what not to eat.
They doubted God’s integrity and believed the lie of the devil, thereby falling straight into sin, God’s supernatural intervention which made things to happen for them departed from their lives.Beloved, Jesus says to you today, “have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22).
Strongholds are destroyed through faith. Faith does not give room for failure or option A or B. faith is the assurance that it is done. By a stretched faith, Isreal passed through River Jordan on foot, and by faith the wall of Jericho fell down flat and Rahab the harlot who was an unbeliever was saved with her household.
