LET THE FIRE FALL
MAIN TEXT: MATTHEW 3:11“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
Matthew 3:12—”His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
I am speaking about the fire of God that makes the church of Jesus Christ relevant and strong. This is the fire of the Holy Spirit—it cannot fall on your life without the evidence following. We need a fire to fall in our midst. We require the fire of God to fall on us again. When the fire falls on any man, it burns the chaffs away and refines the gold in them for manifestation.
To be a sign and wonder, you need this fire to fall always in your life. Don’t miss it because the foolish virgins thought they had light until the trial and waiting moments came; they got to know that fire the boasted of wasn’t the sustaining fire—the lacked sufficient oil. “And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out” – Matthew 25:8. Don’t relax at the level you are, you may not know the next challenge waiting to quench your fire—so Ask for more fire.
Jesus Christ is the Baptizer of this fire, and you must be born again. It is the fire for manifestations. When those Hebrew me were thrown into the furnace of fire, it was like adding greater fire to a lesser fire—the fire makes us super powerful spirits for God’s use.
DON’T QUENCH YOUR FIRE AGAIN
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, baptize me with fire and make my life be like that of a burning fire. Breathe upon me now. Amen.
